Government ready for discussion on all issues: Yogi Adityanath on eve of UP Assembly session

A day before the budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly begins, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that his government is ready to discuss all issues. Speaking at the all-party meeting held here, Adityanath said, “People have sent the members of the House with great confidence to the country’s largest assembly. I will say time and again that you are 403 special people in which 25 crore people of the state have voted. Have expressed your faith and you should contribute in changing the fate of 25 crore people (of the state).”

The budget session will begin on Monday when Governor Anandiben Patel will address the members of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council.

The budget for 2022-2023 is likely to be presented on Thursday.

Speaker Satish Mahana urged the party leaders to respectfully place their views in the House while following the parliamentary norms.

He said that the discussion should take place in a cordial atmosphere.

Mahana also said that Uttar Pradesh has become the first major state to implement the e-Vidhan system in its assembly. The seats are allotted to the members on the basis of seniority and after consultation with the party leaders.

According to an official statement, Samajwadi Party leader Inderjit Saroj represented his party in the meeting instead of Leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav.

BSP’s Uma Shankar Singh, Congress’s Aradhana Mishra, Rashtriya Lok Dal’s Rajpal Baliyan, Apna Dal (Sonelal)’s Ram Niwas Verma, Nishad Party’s Anil Tripath, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party’s Jagdish Narayan Rai and Jansatta Dal (Loktantrik) represented Uma Shankar Singh. represented. Raghuraj Pratap Singh.

BSP leader Uma Shankar Singh told PTI that during the meeting he raised the demand for a longer budget session to allow time for discussion on various issues.

Meanwhile, a meeting of SP MLAs was held at the party office in Lucknow.

It was decided in the meeting that the budget session should be at least 35 days. Issues related to the common man cannot be discussed in the session lasting five-six days.

The SP said in the statement that the budget session should be long so that detailed discussion can take place.
