rajasthan royals: Gujarat Titans qualify for IPL final with seven-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals

Gujarat Titans entered the final of the Indian League with a seven-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the first qualifier here on Tuesday. Asked to bat first, Rajasthan Royals scored 188 for six. GT completed the chase with David Miller scoring an unbeaten 68 off 38 balls with three balls to spare.

Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl at Eden Gardens.

RR lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (3) early on, but Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler dominated the GT bowlers with their aggressive batting, hitting too many boundaries during the 68-run stand for the second wicket.

Skipper Samson was dismissed for 47 runs in just 26 balls, while leading scorer Buttler made 89 off 56 balls.

Rashid Khan bowled very well and did not score a single run for 15 runs in his full quota of four overs.
