Indian consumers lead intent to use ‘buy now pay later’

India is the largest group of consumers who intend to use ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ services (BNPL) this calendar year, a new report has tracked purchase data across 18 countries.

Indian consumers using BNPL services were the third highest purchasers globally between October-December 2021, behind Australia and China as well as Indonesia and Mexico.

India is well above the global average on both the parameters.
