xorkeesign G2C is a browser extension that remains invisible until a user accesses the Income Tax, GST or MCA portal and then helps users sign their returns without the need for any additional tools. The company said this differs from the default tax filing mechanism in that the user installs separate signing software for each site and each software has its own pre-requisites.
B. Robert Raja, Managing Director, Odyssey Technologies, said, “The mere ease of use justifies using xorkeesign G2C in place of the default mechanism. I am told that users can use xorkeesign G2C to be simpler and more efficient than the Aadhaar OTP based e- Get faster verification. Since GST returns are due every month, this will save significant time for all taxpayers and consultants.
The product works on platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Ubuntu, and browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox. The Chennai-based company also said that xorkeesign also addresses G2C security concerns, such as typing in a user’s password on a government portal when they don’t even need it. “xorkeesign G2C enables every user to sign in with a DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) in a completely self-contained manner, keeping the key of the DSC with him at all times,” the company said in a statement.
