Bangalore: Direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty and wellness brand Ayurveda Company (TAC) has raised $3 million from Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, Rahul Gupta of Tricity Technologies and Harsh Gupta of School of Design and Entrepreneurship.

The first fundraising will help TAC grow, production capabilities and venture into retail over the next 12-15 months.

Founder Param Bhargava said, “TAC is gearing up to grow north of Rs 100 crore business, promote team and technology, expand market share and establish its foothold in the D2C space.”

To spread knowledge about Ayurveda globally, TAC will soon launch its 3C App as well.

Bhargava said, “This partnership with Wipro will help us achieve our goals and build a legacy Ayurvedic brand from India to the world.”

TAC was founded in June 2021, when Bhargava and Sridha Singh founded beauty brand Khadi Essentials three years ago.

Apart from selling directly from its D2C website, TAC products are also placed on Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, Myntra, PharmEasy, 1MG and Zepto.

TAC has already launched its retail network in key markets including New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chennai, the company said in a statement.
