congress: Assam govt run by Congress deserters: TMC’s Lok Sabha MP Mohua Moitra

Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP from West Bengal Mohua Moitra on Wednesday said that the Assam government is being run by those who have left the Congress.

Excited by the renewed re-joining of leaders, the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) organized an event in Guwahati where over 100 people joined the ruling party in West Bengal.

Moitra said, “The Prime Minister is busy celebrating Hanuman Jayanti but is keeping silence on inflation. No party in the country has played the role of a responsible opposition like the Trinamool Congress. are increasing and yet there is no opposition to it. If Prime Minister Narendra Modi can’t check the price hike then who can?”

Stating that the Trinamool Congress will lead the opposition forces, he said, “If the opposition is united, the BJP will lose in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.”

Former state unit president and former Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora recently joined TMC.
