Buoyed by a decisive victory in the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a rural-level recruitment drive in neighboring Haryana and is gearing up for a massive rally of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal next month.

The electoral victory in Punjab has had a huge impact in Haryana as now the AAP is flooded with membership requests.
Speaking exclusively to ET, AAP’s Haryana in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta said, “In the last one and a half months since we won Punjab, around 1.75 lakh people have joined our state unit in Haryana. This is mainly because we have activated our energy. Units up to the village level. Haryana has 7,200 villages and each village now has a party unit. We have a circle unit in every 10 villages and four teams of dedicated AAP workers in every assembly constituency. ,
