A non-cognizable (NC) offense was registered after Maharashtra BJP leader Vinayak Ambekar told police that a group of NCP men entered his office here and slapped him, an official said on Sunday. Ambekar had claimed that NCP workers had come to his office on Saturday for tax consultation and then hit and abused him.
