Soho Home, Soho House’s luxury interior design and home furnishing business that allows clients to replicate the look and feel of private members’ clubs, is expanding.
Connecting locations in New York’s Meatpacking District and London’s King’s Road, Soho Home will open this summer at Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill and Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, the first West Coast outpost.
Soho.Home.Studio Westbourne Grove will have a 7,779-square-foot space next to the Electric House, where members and non-members can both book consultations with the design team, shop furniture and home furnishings as well as artworks from MAH Gallery Huh. ,
soho.home.studio will be a 9,308-square-foot, two-story space in the Design District of West Hollywood, near the newly opened Holloway House on Melrose Avenue, Holloway Drive.
Soho Home also has its own e-commerce site, selling everything from its $3,495 contemporary oak four-poster Loretta bed to $420 silk pajamas, the $5,195 Juliana chandelier from Dumbo House, the Barwell crystal glassware that launched its retail channel in 2016. has been ,
The Soho Home business membership is part of the group’s global portfolio of 33 Soho House, 9 Soho Works, Ned’s in London, Scorpio’s Beach Club in Mykonos, The Line and Saguaro hotels in North America.
Like many shelter brands, Soho Home has been growing during the pandemic with sales of 150 percent in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same period last year, according to MCG.
“Our soho.home.studio is what attracts our members by being able to see the home of Soho House,” MCG President Andrew Carney said in a statement. “We are pleased to see the positive response to sites we opened in London and New York last year. These two new locations reflect our belief in the strength of our aspirational home and interiors business.”
