Rihanna, Parade, Bombas and Others Honored as Femmy Awards Return – WWD – Pen 18

The Femi Awards Return to Manhattan Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday night after a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus. More than 300 people slipped out of their sleepwear and put on their fabulous outfits as they arrived at the spectacular Midtown venue for a night of drinks, dinner and dancing hosted by rock band Betty.

The prestigious Femi Awards and Gala, produced by Underfashion Club, is an annual fundraiser that honors leaders in the intimate apparel industry. Proceeds from the event support student scholarships.

This year’s awards show also marks the 64th anniversary of the underfashion club. The event culminated with a DJ set, take-home Savage x Fenty Rob, and dancing into the late night hours.

“I’m so excited to be here because I’m just getting acquainted with this world and I love that it’s such a deep culture,” said Roman Sip, Creative Director of Men’s Division and Cosabella and Jarnel. “And being on an awards show that just focuses on an industry I love so much is just amazing.”
