India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in a Super 12 match at the prestigious Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 23 October. The MCG has a capacity of over 90,000 for cricket matches.
However, spectators can still buy some tickets closer to the dates of the event. “An official re-sale platform will be launched closer to the event, where fans can exchange tickets at face value,” the ICC said.
“Fans are encouraged to be on the waiting list if additional tickets become available,” the ICC said.
A total of 16 teams will take part in the marquee event, which begins on October 16 and ends with the final at the MCG on November 13.

Tickets for the first round and Super 12 matches cost just $5 for children, while tickets for adults start at $20.
The ICC said that several other matches for this marquee event, starting with the qualifiers from October 16, have also been sold out.
“Current ticket allocations are also sold out for a double-header at the SCG featuring Group A runners-up South Africa vs Bangladesh and India vs India on 27 October. Fans are encouraged to join the waiting list in case additional tickets become available. goes,” the ICC said.
