The bench also fixed a remuneration of Rs 20 lakh to Justice Rao for the comprehensive exercise of drafting the constitution, and said he would also chalk out the modalities for dissemination of the draft constitution among the members of the IOA.
The top court restrained courts across the country from considering any petition regarding the draft constitution or the proposed executive committee elections and said all such petitions would be taken up only by it.
The apex court had on October 10 approved the deadline for amending the draft constitution of the IOA and its elections, as agreed in a meeting with the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland, on September 27.
It approved the holding of the IOA Executive Committee elections on 3 December, as the International Olympic Committee Executive Board meeting was scheduled to take place on 5 December.
