Odyssey Technologies brings out digital signing extension for Income Tax, GST & MCA

Chennai: Software product development company Odyssey Technologies on Thursday said its product ‘xorkeesign G2C’ will help users to digitally sign GST and income tax returns for all sections, including corporate taxpayers, and digital certificates of company officials with the MCA portal. will help you register. ,

xorkeesign G2C is a browser extension that remains invisible until a user accesses the Income Tax, GST or MCA portal and then helps users sign their returns without the need for any additional tools. The company said this differs from the default tax filing mechanism in that the user installs separate signing software for each site and each software has its own pre-requisites.

B. Robert Raja, Managing Director, Odyssey Technologies, said, “The mere ease of use justifies using xorkeesign G2C in place of the default mechanism. I am told that users can use xorkeesign G2C to be simpler and more efficient than the Aadhaar OTP based e- Get faster verification. The product works on platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Ubuntu, and browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox. The Chennai-based company also said that xorkeesign also addresses G2C security concerns, such as typing in a user’s password on a government portal when they don’t even need it. “xorkeesign G2C enables every user to sign in with a DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) in a completely self-contained manner, keeping the key of the DSC with him at all times,” the company said in a statement.

“We plan to extend the use of xorkeesign G2C to cover all government interfaces like EPF (Employees Provident Fund), Trademark Registry, DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) and Customs. We will provide improved procedures for easing tender signing on government portals as well as state and local government interfaces.”
