delhi: Delhi has less voter turnout despite having educated people: CEC Sushil Chandra – The Economic Times Video

New Delhi, Apr 29 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra attends the opening ceremony of the Integrated Election Complex, in Delhi on April 29. While addressing, he said that there has been less voting in the capital in Delhi. “The polling percentage in Delhi was low in the last election. It is the capital of India, has an educated population, so why is the turnout low? We should spread awareness among the people. Minimum turnout was recorded in South Delhi. When Assam can have more than 80 per cent voter turnout then why can Delhi have 62.5 per cent.
