Sai was appreciated by many netizens while some were hurt by her comments. Sai was condemning religious hate crimes and communal violence, where she said cow vigilantism is tantamount to Kashmiri Pandit exodus as the foundation of both is religious conflict. Giving an interview to YouTube channel Great Andhra, Sai said, ‘The Kashmir Files showed how Kashmiri Pandits were murdered at that time. If you are taking the issue as a religious conflict, there was an incident recently where a Muslim driver carrying cows was beaten up and forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Sai is promoting her upcoming Telugu film these days. Virat Parmi Starring Rana Daggubati, and inspired by true events of the 1990s. The film is a love story set against the backdrop of the Naxalite movement in the Telangana region. Sai plays Venela, who falls in love with Ravana, a Naxalite leader played by Rana. When asked about his political leanings, Sai said, “I was taught that I should protect those who are being hurt.
