Sourav Ganguly: BCCI president Sourav Ganguly launches educational app

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Wednesday said that he has launched a worldwide educational app.

Speculation was rife about the former captain’s status as BCCI president after his cryptic tweet on June 1, in which he thanked his fans and said that he was planning to start something that might Will help a lot of people”. This fueled speculation that BCCI was set to step down as president, prompting board secretary Jay Shah to clarify that he had not resigned.

“2022 is the 30th year since the beginning of my journey with cricket in 1992. Since then, cricket has given me a lot. Most importantly, it has given me the support of all of you. Want to thank everyone who has been a part of the journey, supported me, and helped me get to where I am today. Today, I plan to start something that I think will probably help a lot of people. I hope you continue your support as I enter this chapter of my life,” he wrote on Twitter.

Ganguly finally vented his tweet, telling reporters in Kolkata that it was in relation to his new app.
