Daisy Edgar-Jones Dons 3D Floral Dress for ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ – WWD – Pen 18

Daisy Edgar-Jones has fun on the red carpet at the premiere of her latest film, “Where the Crowds Sing.”

The actress stunned Gucci wearing a pink, green and lavender sequin floral applique dress, which featured an asymmetric skirt from the label’s Resort 2023 collection. She styled her hair in an updo, leaving only her bangs down, and wore strappy white sandals.

She was styled by Nikki Yates, who also works with the likes of Phoebe Dienevar, Carey Mulligan, and Claire Foy.

Other artists such as Taylor John Smith and Harris Dickinson also attended the premiere, held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Reese Witherspoon, who produced the film, also made an appearance wearing a bright pink Emilia Wickstead dress.

The film, based on Delia Owens’ 2018 novel of the same name, follows a young woman growing up in the swamps of North Carolina who becomes a suspect in the murder of a man she was once involved with.

Since Edgar-Jones starred in her breakout role as Marianne Sheridan on Hulu’s hit series “Normal People” in 2020, she’s skyrocketed to fame. This year alone, she has landed lead roles in Hulu’s thriller “Fresh” and the true crime drama “Under the Banner of Heaven.”

She collaborates with several luxury fashion labels such as Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Fendi, Versace and more to attend high-end events such as the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the Met Gala, and press tours for her projects.
