Bangalore: Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother and Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor was detained by Bengaluru police for allegedly taking drugs at a party in the city on Sunday night. The police have also sent samples of other people along with Siddhant on suspicion of consuming intoxicants. The sample of Shraddha Kapoor’s brother was among the six people who returned positive. According to an India Today report, the police said that it is not clear whether he consumed drugs and came to the party or consumed them at the hotel.

Siddhant Kapoor has acted in many Hindi movies like ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Chehre’, Ugly, etc. He has also worked as an assistant director in films like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, ‘Dhol’. ‘, and ‘Bhagam Bhaag’.

At present, actor Shakti Kapoor’s son is in police custody. Reacting to the detention, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor told ETimes, “I can only say one thing – it is not possible”.

Earlier in 2020, Shraddha Kapoor was among those questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the drugs case probed after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. However, nothing concrete was found against the Bollywood actress.

Mehek Becomes Sheshnaagin, Pratha Wakes up From Coma – Pen 18

Mehak sees a shadow twice at her home while her anniversary celebrations are in full swing. Rishabh’s mother Chanda taunts Mehak that she should live in fear after what Mehek did to her sister Pratha. Urvashi aka Urvashi Dholakia reaches the party and both have a lot of fun on the occasion. Rishabh sits alone in his room when a call comes for a business meeting. Mehak tries to stop him but he tells her that nothing is more important to him than setting up his own business. Mehak is now Sheshnagin

Mehak reaches Nagmahal and announces that it is time for her to claim herself as the next Sheshnagin. Suddenly, a big snake attacks Mehak but she kills him which then disappears on its own. Firishta and Sheshnag arrive at the scene and begin the coronation ceremony of Mehak as Sheshnagin. The Mehak prayer is accepted by Lord Shiva as Naag Mani is given to him. After Mehak becomes Sheshnagin, Farishta and Sheshnag are disappointed. Sheshnag assures the angel that time will decide the fate and everything is up to the will of Lord Shiva. Pratha is back from coma

Rishabh refuses to do any charity in his board meeting. He tells his investors, he is now a changed man and his only objective is to make profits. Mehak starts insulting her ancestors by vandalizing the pictures in Nagmahal and curses them for not declaring them as Sheshnagin. At a secret hideout far away, Pratha is in a deep coma under Jwala’s care. Jwala asks him to wake up and take revenge. Jwala and other women pray to Lord Shiva. Pratha wakes up and gets angry at Jwala for saving her life. Jwala asks her to take rest and tells how she and Inspector Vijay hanged her and saved her. Jwala tells Pratha that she needs to stand up for herself and punish those who betrayed her.

Pratha attempted suicide

Urvashi sees the picture of Mehak’s mother and says that she along with Mehak destroy Bharat which is now Sheshnagin. Urvashi declared that she would do what the virus could not do in this country. Pratha runs away from the hideout while Jwala and the other women are sleeping. She builds her own pyre in the forest and decides to commit suicide as there is no purpose for her to survive after the death of her newborn.

In the upcoming episode, Pratha sees Mehak boasting about his Sheshnagin powers in the Nagmahal. Pratha takes an oath in front of the Shivling that she will again return as the most powerful Sheshnagin.

Test of Pant’s captaincy as India plot comeback versus Proteas

Accidental captain Rishabh Pant will be hoping for a better performance from India’s bowlers as he makes a comeback against South Africa in the second T20I of the five-match series here on Sunday.

Leading India for the first time, Pant had to swallow a bitter pill when David Miller and rope

Dusan played a brilliant innings of 212 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

The southpaw also had a forgettable Indian Premier League where it failed to take Delhi Capitals to the playoffs.

The stakes of Pant, to be seen as the white-ball captain in the future, have suddenly come down after the IPL and it has happened with the revival of Hardik Pandya.

Returning to full fitness, the fast bowling all-rounder not only took the IPL by storm with his form but also in a coup as he led Gujarat Titans to the title in his first season.

Amidst the growing ruckus of ‘Hardik Pandya – India’s next white-ball captain’, Pant will be re-examined as the mastermind of his comeback.

It may still be early days for the Pant leader, but his body language has never been different and he has looked under pressure at the start of his captaincy.

He made an argumentative decision to defeat IPL Purple Cap winner Yuzvendra Chahal, who was fresh from taking 27 wickets for runners-up Rajasthan Royals. The leggie bowled only two full overs at the Kotla.

The senior-most Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not look alike and runs leaked in the death overs, while Harshal Patel was also taken to the cleaners.

Youngster Avesh Khan also failed to impress, though he was the most economical of the three.

With the pair of Arshdeep and Malik working hard to impress at the nets with their speed and accuracy, it is likely that one of the two could be well prepared for his debut on Saturday.

It will not be an easy task as one more slip-up will mean that it will be difficult for the Pant-led side to get three wins in a row.

Fresh from the success of their individual players in the IPL, the Proteas are finding themselves ‘at home’.

As in his life, Miller, who scored 481 runs at 68.71 in the IPL to play a key role in GT’s victory, started in ominous fashion and looked unstoppable against both spin and pace at the Kotla.

Quinton de Kock failed to convert his starts but the Lucknow Super Giants batsman also scored a bag (508) runs in the IPL and would like to make it count here.

With van der Dussen also making it rich, the trio will form the backbone of the batting while the likes of Kagiso Rabada and Enrique Nortje will try to stop the Indians.

lovlina: Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain to lead India’s charge in Commonwealth Games

Women’s world champion Nikhat Zareen and Tokyo Olympic Games bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain will lead India’s campaign at the Commonwealth Games.

Nikhat, Lovlina, Neetu and Jasmine have confirmed their tickets to Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games to be held from 28 July to 8 August.

After winning the trials, Nikhat will compete in 50kg, Lovlina in 70kg, Neetu in 48kg and Jasmine in 60kg.

In the final of the trials, Neetu defeated Manju Raut 5-2 in the final of the 48kg category, while Nikhat defeated Meenakshi 7-0 in the final of the 50kg category.

In the 60 kg weight category, Jasmine defeated Parveen 6-1. Parveen won the bronze medal in the Women’s World Boxing Championship. Lovlina defeated Pooja 7-0 in the 70kg final in the trials.

After the country’s success at the Tokyo Olympic Games and the 2022 World Championships, India has high hopes for the women’s boxing event at the Commonwealth Games.

Mithali Raj’s legacy is about inspiring a generation to take up the sport

When Mithali led the team to the World Cup final in 2005, there was hardly any coverage. No one cared what was really happening with the women’s team. Now, things are profoundly different. The team travels in business class and the Women’s Indian Premier League (WIPL), which will make the sport a viable career option for young girls in the country, is just a year away. Mithali has presided over this transformation and led India not only on the field but also off it. This is what makes him a true pioneer of the game. What explains Mithali’s longevity is a question that has often been debated. The answer is what he did at the end of the first Kovid-19 lockdown.

For the record, Mithali had played 21 years by then and had little left to prove to anyone. However, it didn’t matter to him. With an eye on the ODI World Cup in New Zealand, she moved from Hyderabad to Bengaluru, rented an apartment, and prepared for days in isolation with a personal trainer.
